THE VIETNAM REFERENCE MATERIAL PRODUCER ACCREDITATION SCHEME (VIRAS)

Vietnam Reference Material Producer Accreditaion Scheme (VIRAS) is one of accreditation schemes of EE8808:

Organization and operation conform with the requirements of ISO 17011
Assessment criteria: ISO 17034 and supplementary requirements for each specific scope
Toward a full member and signatory of Mutual Recognition Arrangement with
- Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APAC)
- International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC)

Up to now, EE8808 is ready for assessment and accredition of Reference Material Produccer (RMP).
Benefit of Laboratory Accreditation

To improve technical capacity and management of RMPs
To ensure the correctness and reliability of certificate value/information of Reference Material (RM) and Certified Reference Material (CRM)
To facilitate the recognition of RMs and CRMs
To integrate the RMP accreditation activities of Vietnam with those of regional and international countries.
